The Story of Sangkuriang and Tangkuban Perahu Mountain
As soon as, there was a kingdom in Priangan Land. Lived a cheerful family. They have been a father in form of canine,his name is Tumang, a mom which was called is Dayang Sumbi, and a baby which was known as Sangkuriang.
At some point, Dayang Sumbi requested her son to go searching together with his pretty dog, Tumang. After searching all day, Sangkuriang started desperate and nervous as a result of he hunted no deer. Then he thought to shot his personal dog. Then he took the canine liver and carried home.
Soon Dayang Sumbi found out that it was not deer lever however Tumang's, his own dog. So, She was very angry and hit Sangkuriang's head. In that incident, Sangkuriang obtained wounded and scar then forged away from their home.
Years go bye, Sangkuriang had journey many places and eventually arrived at a village. He met a good looking woman and felt in love with her. After they had been discussing their marriage ceremony plans, The lady seemed at the wound in Sangkuriang's head. It matched to her son's wound who had left severall years earlier. Quickly she realized that she felt in love together with her own son.
She couldn't marry him but the right way to say it. Then, she discovered the way. She needed a lake and a boat for celebrating their wedding ceremony day. Sangkuriang had to make them in one night. He constructed a lake. With a dawn simply moment away and the boat was almost complete. Dayang Sumbi had to stop it. Then, she lit up the eastern horizon with flashes of light. It made the cock crowed for a brand new day.
Sangkuriang did not marry her. She was very angry and kicked the boat. It felt over and have become the mountain of Tangkuban Perahu Bandung.
